WHOLEHEARTED
Therapy

Mindful Therapy with Keri was born out of a vision to provide quality therapeutic offerings to all. The various professional trainings that I have embarked on and woven together into my particular therapeutic approach were all pursued out of a desire to heal my own past wounds. I am passionate about being able to provide resources to and support others in ways that were not available to the younger versions of myself.

The foundation of my therapeutic offerings are rooted in empowering you to cultivate wholehearted authenticity and radical integrity through compassionate curiosity and nervous system regulation. It is my mission to support the rediscovery of your COURAGEOUS HEARTS, COMPASSIONATE MINDS, RESOURCED BODIES, and RESILIENT SPIRITS.

As a queer, cis-gendered, White and able-bodied woman, it is important to me that all parts of your unique constellation of identities feel welcome here. My mission is to offer quality therapeutic services to all. We all have intersecting identities that impact our life experiences. I want you to know that you are welcome here. Regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender identification, sexual orientation, or economic status.

ALL PARTS OF YOUR ARE

WELCOME HERE.

Here are a couple different approaches that I utilize and areas that I specialize in.

SOMATIC EXPERIENCING®

Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based approach to psychotherapy developed by Dr. Peter Levine that focuses on resolving trauma symptoms and relieving chronic stress. SE offers a psychobiological perspective on trauma, providing clinical tools to resolve these physiological states stuck in repeating patterns of

fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.

“Trauma is a life experience,
not a life sentence”

After years of training in yoga, mindfulness, counseling, psychology, somatics, trauma, Polyvagal Theory, and Dr. Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™, one of my core philosophies is that each one of us has experienced some form of trauma throughout our life. Whether in our childhood or in our adult life, we have all navigated the difficult storms that being human can bring. Most of us were never taught how to integrate these experiences into our lives so they don’t become a life sentence of pain and suffering.

Below you will find three foundational aspects of my practice. Together, in each one of my offerings, we can use these tools to help create a sense of safety and direction to support the path of your healing.

NERVOUS SYSTEM
REGULATION

Learning the language of your nervous system is a key to long lasting healing. Just as the ocean tides ebb and flow, and the moon waxes and wanes, you too, experience moments of expansion and contraction in your body, mind, heart, and spirit. When you are able to learn how your body responds to the unfolding of life’s experiences, and REGULATE yourself through those

ebbs and flows of life, you are given the keys to your own temple.
